Introducing our Nutritionist, Rosie Spence

Nutritional therapy essentially involves providing your body with the right food to keep you fit and healthy.  A Nutritionist is a practitioner that provides dietary advice to patients.  By making dietary changes you can significantly improve your health. What you put in your mouth has a profound effect on how you look, feel and think.

Rosie - Nutritionist

Hippocrates, born in 460BC is widely considered to be the father of modern medicine and is famously quoted as saying:

“Let medicine by thy food and food by thy medicine”

As a Nutritionist I have a wealth of experience after working in both London and America.  I am registered with the professional body for Nutritional Therapy, BANT (The British Association for Applied Nutrition & Nutritional Therapy).  I trained at the renowned The College of Naturopathic Medicine in London after finding nutrition and diet so helpful in improving my own health.

I decided to become a Nutritionist having found nutrition the key to my own chronic health issues – low energy levels, fatigue, weight gain, bloating, IBS, constipation and digestive issues.  I soon noticed the benefits - my energy soared, my digestive problems radically improved and I felt great for the first time in years.”

It was apparent that through years of bad habits I had been exacerbating the problems, but found I could improve them radically through changes to what I ate.  I was fascinated – the food you eat fundamentally affects your health and how you feel.  I wanted to learn more and help other people.

I cover all areas of nutrition but have particular expertise with digestive issues, weight management & chronic stress.
